Advance Presence Detection is detection of heat energy that radiated from the objects, not detection of reflected visible light. This brings detection in darkness. It does not focus on the specifications of the objects but presence of the objects.

Examples for these applications are; for people counting passing/entering/exiting the buildings, metro stations, stations, stores; for surveillance of buildings, streets, borders, etc; for air-conditioning of rooms, buildings depending on the number of people in the specific areas.
